A Warm Welcome to Our Newest General Partner, Priscilla Guevara

It is our absolute pleasure to announce the promotion of Priscilla Guevara to General Partner at Science Inc.

For those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting or working with Priscilla as Head of Investor Relations, you know how diligent, focused, and dedicated she is to offering guidance and support to our investors, partners, and founders while fostering invaluable connections, which are core to Science’s portfolio.

Since 2018, her pivotal contributions have included the deliberate launching of new opportunity vehicles for business growth, forging and managing new strategic corporate and family business alliances, adept deal sourcing, and creating new platforms to bring the Science community together — such as Science’s Investor Summits, Entrepreneurship Impact Week, and more — and leading efforts for follow-on funding for fast-growing portfolio companies, such as Liquid Death, which recently announced a $1.4B current valuation.

Priscilla’s new role is an exciting step forward as Science continues to invest in cultural movement and dynamic companies that disrupt the old guard in entertainment, sports, CPG, insurance, and beyond.

As a General Partner and a member of the Science Ventures Investment Committee, she will make investment decisions unanimously across the General Partnership. She will also continue to unlock new partnerships across investor bases, corporates, and capital markets, as well as oversee marketing and communications.

She brings over two decades of Wall Street experience from notable names such as SMBC, Neuberger Berman, and Moore Capital, corporate venture expertise during her time as an Investor at ZX Ventures (Anheuser-Busch’s CVC arm), and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Priscilla’s ever-growing network spans the US, Europe, Middle East, APAC, and Latin America. With a continued passion for supporting women and the hospitality industry, Priscilla co-founded SWIPE (3.5K+ members globally), is a SoCal Chapter Committee Member of 100 Women in Finance, and a Development Committee Member of the James Beard Foundation. In her spare time, she is an avid tennis player and fan.
